OUR TAKE
A customer-operated device route for an existing CRM
myCRMSIM is a different route through the problem: keep more of the equipment and identity under your operation, then connect the CRM. Compare that responsibility before comparing its annualized price.
Make the hardware owner explicit
The public iMessage page describes account connection, device compatibility and a macOS app. Identify the devices, carrier service and staff member who will maintain the setup.
An existing personal number can raise a different migration question from obtaining a new managed business identity. Confirm what is supported for your account and how business access will be shared.
Accept the CRM path with real staff
Check the contact record, sending identity and incoming reply in the CRM the team uses. A connector label alone does not prove assignment rules or history visibility for your exact configuration.
Keep device access and account recovery separate from ordinary staff access. A salesperson should not become the only person able to restore the sender after a problem.
Compare license and operations together
The published annual tier is a software cost. Carrier, hardware and administration belong in the same buying decision, even if the business already owns some of them.
This route is most relevant when operating the equipment is a deliberate choice and the CRM connection meets the team’s needs.
The decision in one sentence
Consider it when the team intends to own and maintain the device-backed route.
